AnnMarie Riley Awarded K-State Tomorrow’s Teacher Scholarship Award

AnnMarie Riley is a 2016 BVSW and CAPS Teacher Education graduate. She recently was awarded the Tomorrow’s Teacher Award for 2017-2018 at Kansas Statue University.

In 1999, Lee and Barb Harris founded the Tomorrow’s Teacher Scholarship Program in an effort to help young people of Kansas realize their desire to pursue careers in teaching. While neither were teachers, their philanthropy stems from a desire to touch as many lives as possible in a positive way. A single Tomorrow’s Teacher recipient might teach as many as 500 to 1,000 young people over the course of a career. Multiply this by the number of Tomorrow’s Teacher graduates and thousands of lives have been beneficially impacted.

Between 1999 and 2016, 60 students have graduated as Tomorrow’s Teacher scholars from K-State.
