CAPS Technology Solutions Victorious at Pitt State Great Gorilla Games

The CAPS Technology Solutions team of Weston, Chan, Hunter Ryden, Ryan Salge and Jeff Shirley took second in the Great Escape at the Great Gorilla Games at Pittsburg State University on April 11th. This competition tested knowledge of Engineering, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry among other topics. With a set time limit, students had to solve problems to find the information to advance to the next station.

The competition draws hundreds of high school students from throughout the region. Aimed at promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, the Great Gorilla Games features a variety of contests, challenges and exhibits that present a “unique educational opportunity” for the students. The event was one of the largest technology-related competitions in PSU history.
