Max Weyforth

Max Weyforth is a 2016 graduate of Bule Valley Northwest high school. He attended CAPS as a senior during the 2015-2016 school year. Max is currently a student at the University of Arkansas majoring in supply chain management and finance at the Walton College of Business.

Here is what Max had to say about his time at CAPS:

Did your CAPS experiences help you understand what you wanted to pursue in college?

My CAPS experience was instrumental in my college decision.  I was able to take classes from both fields of study that I was interested in and compare the two on more of a real world level, rather than in a typical high school environment.  This allowed me to make an informed decision about the direction that I would pursue in college.

Where there things at CAPS that helped prepare you for success in college?

Yes, CAPS prepared me for situations I did not think I would experience.  The most valuable and applicable aspects of the CAPS program were the projects involving business partners. Being able to work for clients on real business and engineering projects and problems helped me jumpstart my future career.

What was your biggest take-away from your CAPS experience?

My biggest take away from CAPS is no matter your age or how much experience you have, you can still bring new ideas to the table that can make a difference.
