Tech Solutions students win the 2019 Congressional App Challenge

Each year, a nation-wide Congressional App Challenge is hosted by the the U.S. House of Representatives. The competition is open to all middle and high school students in Kansas’ Third Congressional District. The winners of the 2019 Congressional App Challenge are CAPS Tech Solutions students Samuel DeZube, Ike Summerlin, Bradley Lichtmann and Andrew Kampschroeder. Their app, “SafeSpace”, compiles life-saving texting and calling hotlines for those who are suffering from depression, anxiety, sexual assault, drug abuse, or other forms of mental illness.
